We went to mountain Hehuanshan on May 18th. We it was smooth until we get to Chingjing Farm area. It started raining. Tim told the group: the mountain can show herself to you or not. the mountain can also change her mind any time. it's no joking matter. We all saw the awesomeness of the great mountain and stayed at the Songshelow (松雪樓) on the 3140 meter high altitude. We are glade no one had high altitude sickness, except for a couple of light headache. A couple sniffs of the oxygen took care of it. The mountain highway to the east was washed off. The second option was reported unstable after two weeks of rain. We have to take the origina way back to Taichung and went wround the south tip of the island in order to get to Bunun Cultural Center around Taitung area. We are now staying at teh bunun center for the second night.......
